Fitting instruction to mount the AW Nordic Gridsystem

• Mounting should always get start from the middle of the ceiling and parallel towards both sides..
• Always start to mount the profile with the side which has the longest distance to the stanzed hole.
• Always use the Support profile extension piece, to connect against wall frame, and use the Bracket fo fix support profile to wall frame.

1. On the walls where the mainsection ( l=3200 ) is to be fitted, start from the middle and measure c/c 1214 altternatively 614 mm towards both sides. Mark the same division on the ceiling.
2. Drill holes for ceiling attachments in accordance with dimension table, see fig.

   

3. Fit the ceiling attachments in the holes with screws and plugs. Use washer for heavy ceilings (over 7 kg / m2 ).
4. Press the upper pendulum firmly into ceiling attachment, see fig

   NB In case of heavy ceilings the upper pendulum must be secured through the ceiling attachment by means of pop rivets or 3 mm sheet-metal screws.

5. The standard wall profile scruws direct at the wall at marked height. For the shadow wallprofile, mark the height of the moulding, (tile height + 45 mm) and fit the wall attachments with an attachment on either side of the joint and with at least one attachment per metre.
6. If measuring takes place between mouldings, the main section can be joinde/cut to the right length before fitting ( with a margin at - 15 mm). Joints must be secured with two pop rivets on either side. Cutting must take place from the end where the joint is prefitted. When the correct length has been tested, insert a section joint at either side.

7. Insert the lower pendulum in the main section and turn it 90º . See fig. NB Make sure that the lower pendulum is at hte bottom of the section before turning.

   Pendulum in fixed position Squeeze the lower pendulum into the upper pendulum and screw temprarily with a sheet-metal screw. When all pendulums have been fitted, it is easy to make adjustments to get the correct heitht by means of the unique system. Each pendulum i secured with two sheet-metal screws on either side. NB Secure the section joint in the moulding with clips.Use washer for heavy ceilings (over 7 kg / m2 ).

   
   
8. When all main sections are in place, fit the cross sections (see fig.) As fitting progresses, the ceiling tiles can be put up.
